Is there any info yet on what dollar amount ACORN will most likely receive? This article states that ACORN will get "a big chunk of $4.19 billion allocated for 'neighborhood stabilization activities....'" A big chunk is a relative term. A big chunk compared to what? And apparently it's not even going to be the biggest chunk. Who's going to get the biggest chunk? However much money ACORN gets, I doubt it's going to be in the billions. What did ACORN receive from the last few federal budgets?

Just curious: How much is "a big chunk"? Is ACORN really about to receive "billions" of dollars? Who or what is slated to receive "the biggest chunk" of the appropriation for neighborhood stabilization activities?

I realize because the bill has not been settled yet that dollar amounts are moving targets, but links to the data would be nice.

Please present the evidence that ACORN commited massive fraud. The only fraud I have read about from non-partisan sources, is the fraud they themselves uncovered and reported to the proper federal authorities.

You really don't get it, we won, we're moderates (something the Republicans don't seem to have anymore) and we moderates belong to the NRA too and love our guns as much as any USA hating Right Wing Republican.

ACORN should not receive even one cent from taxpayer money! I was disgusted to learn during the 2008 election that this organization even exists and has been funded for years by the taxpayers. ACORN and all of its subsidiary groups should be permanently abolished!!!!!!!

ACorn is a radical leftist organization...how does giving them a couple billion stimulate our economy for the long run? We have to stimulate PRODUCTION, make stuff we can sell abraod, become producers again. The whole point is, beyond one's feelings about Rep vs Dem, this bill does not at all address, in a meaningful way, getting America on the right track again. It is YOU who doesn't get it! The country is going down the toilet, led by both Reps & Dems who are not statement at all, but merely short-sighted conduits for their lobbying interests.

So long as things are this bad and yet Wash still operates in the same god-awful manner, we are truly doomed.
