With the Obama appointments it looks like Chicago politics has gone to Washington. I have a patiuclar problem with the Vilsack appointment for Ag Secretary. He got in under the radar screen, but it would not have made any difference. He was a lobbyist and a history of lack of transparency and ethics and questionable policy.
