I never see a police car until it's "DUI time": (10:00 P.M. - 1:00 A.M. on Friday or Saturday). Then we have lots and lots of roadblocks, because the make a lot of $$ on DUI's. If no roadblock, you can get pulled over twice in the same week for doing NOTHING. If you forget to turn on your signal when you pull over, you get a ticket, though. Then they ask, "What are you doing on this road tonight?" (Gee, I thought we PAID for these roads, and our Fathers and Grandfathers) We're paying to be protected and served too, but that's not how it works anymore, is it?
It's the law abiding citizens who are afraid to go outside, let their dogs outside or leave their houses for a few minutes for fear of being robbed or worse by doped up zombies. One neighbor came home to find a burglar passed out in his recliner. Another came in and the burglar was making himself a sandwich with the refrigerator wide open. They took an air conditioner out of a window to break in another house. Another house had a window open over a 2nd story kitchen sink and that's how they got in! A lady down the street made the mistake of opening the door to a teenager who'd been her neighbor, asking to borrow some gas. She was stabbed to death.

Pelosi does not represent my district. She should not be taking my money for her personal travel whims. There are scheduled commercial airline flights to San Francisco several times a day. I will grant that in an emergency, such as after 9/11, a temporary situation exists where the Speaker should have the protection of military flights, but only temporary and on a very limited basis. The Speaker should A) reimburse the military for flights B) pay income tax on the flights as with any perk offered by an employer. The speaker is a citizen and should travel like the rest of us if for no better reason than to see how difficult common travel has become. But if a better reason is necessary, she needs to know that the cost is money not hers to take, frivolously or otherwise.

I went back and read Bush's Executive Order issued on 9/14 and can find no authorization for the private plane.

I am so tired of hearing about her. The govt wanted her, they all agreed & voted her in. Now, the taxpayers have to just contend with it. I am so tired of being an american, to date this has gotten me nowhere. People on my street have been broken into and terrorized, it is so bad that I am now a prisoner of my own home b/c the culprits across the st from me check out everyone who comes & goes.(Yes, they are the ones responsible for the cime in our subdv, they have been confronted)These people have no jobs and live off govt assistance & sell drugs. Thier busiest times is during the school hour (11am - 3pm)When some of thier customers come by, with thier kids in the backseat after they had been picked up. I am just so tired of everything, so tired that I might just leave the US and become unamerican. It's so depressing.

I'm responding to "Who else...Pelosi & Everything Else. You have my sincerest sympathy-very similar situations are happening here. And that's all I hear from all working, law abiding, tax paying citizens now. Sounds like you live in my neighborhood, which used to be the "BEST street in town" (10 years ago). The police say it's like this everywhere, so there's no sense in moving. They also say they're selling it next door and across the street from THEM, TOO! They told me the guy next door is probably cooking something, because he's been caught before twice, but I've NEVER seen police over there! There are about 20-30 cars in and out every day and night. They try to mess with my dog, because she lets me know whenever anyone gets near my yard.
I never see a police car until it's "DUI time": (10:00 P.M. - 1:00 A.M. on Friday or Saturday). Then we have lots and lots of roadblocks, because the make a lot of $$ on DUI's. If no roadblock, you can get pulled over twice in the same week for doing NOTHING. If you forget to turn on your signal when you pull over, you get a ticket, though. Then they ask, "What are you doing on this road tonight?" (Gee, I thought we PAID for these roads, and our Fathers and Grandfathers) We're paying to be protected and served too, but that's not how it works anymore, is it?
It's the law abiding citizens who are afraid to go outside, let their dogs outside or leave their houses for a few minutes for fear of being robbed or worse by doped up zombies. One neighbor came home to find a burglar passed out in his recliner. Another came in and the burglar was making himself a sandwich with the refrigerator wide open. They took an air conditioner out of a window to break in another house. Another house had a window open over a 2nd story kitchen sink and that's how they got in! A lady down the street made the mistake of opening the door to a teenager who'd been her neighbor, asking to borrow some gas. She was stabbed to death.
Oh, about Pelosi, it makes me sick to see her stumble all over herself and flub up all of her words when she's in her "element" in front of a hall full of firemen or any men. It's quite apparent all she thinks about is how she looks on t.v. She thinks she's "God" and expects to be worshipped. It happens to the best of them...give them a POSITION
and it goes straight to their weakest points - their heads!
I agree with you, a few more years of this Narco- Republic and this county will not be fit to live in. Most places are not fit to live in now. It looks more like a Third World Country every day. And Hillary says it's OUR insatiable appetites for drugs that caused the war in Mexico after her husband's involvement in the Mena Cartel man. He was in Columbia this week, probably the same time she was speaking the words. They think we're so stupid! We're not gonna get rid of this problem by voting Democratic or Republican. It's both parties-they're all crooks! We need an AMERICAN and not a COMMUNITARIAN...THIS IS STILL AMERICA, isn't it?
And another thing, next time let's check the birth certificate before we vote someone in as President or this is what we deserve. It's ALL show biz! Their all puppets. The ones who are really in charge are the ones paying the Lobbyists and the sweet elite and the ones who just got away with all our money and our grandchildren's money. Oh, and by the way, the ones who got the bailouts were the ones who paid for the Republican and Democratic Conventions. It would have been a lot cheaper to just pay for the conventions with taxpayer money to begin with. I think we should have been consulted first, don't you?

It is not surprising that what Pelosi has said in public doesn't square with what she does in private. This should be broadcast far and wide. I doubt PRAVDA will do it though.

Pelosi Travel Tips
Pelosi does not represent my district. She should not be taking my money for her personal travel whims. There are scheduled commercial airline flights to San Francisco several times a day. I will grant that in an emergency, such as after 9/11, a temporary situation exists where the Speaker should have the protection of military flights, but only temporary and on a very limited basis. The Speaker should A) reimburse the military for flights B) pay income tax on the flights as with any perk offered by an employer. The speaker is a citizen and should travel like the rest of us if for no better reason than to see how difficult common travel has become. But if a better reason is necessary, she needs to know that the cost is money not hers to take, frivolously or otherwise.

I whole heartedly agree. My forefathers did not lay it on the line so that I could be the governments serf. It is utterly pathetic that we shucked of the largest empire of its day over unbearable taxation & now we have the second highest business taxation in the WORLD. Our current tyrannical government will not be satisfied until we are number 1 in that category & my children are sold into indentured servitude. It is time to remove everyone from Washington & have them hung for treason. I am not a Republican/Democrat, I am an American. I have never had a President that I voted for (6 elections & counting). My representatives & senators vote their respective party lines (or whoever/whatever is in their "favor" file), regardless of their constituency. So much for taxation without representation.
