I voted for Obama, but will not make the mistake again. This push for amnesty is nothing but a power grab. The Dems want more guaranteed votes, the US Chamber wants cheap labor and the Catholic church wants more revenue. This has nothing to do with what is best for America. Instead of inviting the most skilled from all over the world, our political leaders want to open the doors to the most poor, unskilled and uneducated. Amnesty is a travesty!!

I wonder what you get for tax evasion...maybe a cabinet post? Is Washington so distant from main street that they're not feeling the change of the wind? You can ask anyone, registered Democrat, Republican or Independent, they're all Moms and Dads, Sons and Daughters, and Brother and Sister first, American second[sometimes even reversed]. We do have different ideals and priorities. But lately we also have a common enemy...our own government. Dear Congress, Congratulations. You accomplished something incredible. Legalizing illegal immigrants is a total betrayal to the constitution of our country--America. Corrupt politicians are implementing such "self-serving" tactics just so they can garner more votes from such "grateful immigrants" when election time comes around! What else is new? This is "old fashioned corruption"--the undoing of our laws--for corrupt politicians to gain power, and control of our governmennt!
What happened to justice, truth, honor, duty, loyalty--that our "Founding fathers"--have fought and died for?
I am a U.S. Navy veteran with nothing, but "honorable and faithful military service." I am also an immigrant,but a law-abiding citizen of the United States of America.
But what a shame, what a shame, what a shame!Corrupt politicians are undoing our laws for selfish gain! Are the faces of these operators layered with several sheets of leather--that they don't have any shame, or conscience at all? I'm deeply disappointed...
