Battling Corruption - Terrorism

Judicial Watch believes one of the few and fundamental roles of government is to protect American citizens from threats foreign and domestic.  As the nation witnessed during the terrorist attacks of 9/11, when 3,000 individuals were murdered on American soil, our government has failed, and continues to fail, miserably in this regard.  Judicial Watch has taken the lead in holding the government accountable for neglecting its most basic responsibility -- protecting the health and welfare of Americans.

In May of 2006, Judicial Watch received and released previously unseen footage of flight 77 hitting the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

In 2005, Judicial Watch received documents revealing that the Clinton administration had been warned about the severity of the bin Laden threat to American national security.  Read the documents and news articles that prove Clinton knew about the threat posed by bin Laden but took no meaningful action to stop him.

After 9/11, members of the bin Laden family fled the U.S. en mass "without explanation."  Read what the Bush administration apparently knew about the exodus of the terrorist mastermind's family.

In 2003, JW called upon the IRS to investigate and shut down Muslim Charities known to be funding and supporting terrorist organizations.  Read more about these terrorist front groups.

Judicial Watch represented 2,300 USPS workers and a USPS workers’ support group, “Brentwood Exposed,” concerning matters related to the October 2001 anthrax attacks.  Two United States Postal Service (USPS) workers, Joseph Curseen, Jr. and Thomas Morris Jr., died from inhalation anthrax they contracted while working with mail in the contaminated Brentwood facility.

Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden, his al Qaeda network, Afghanistan and Iraq on behalf of the husband of a 9/11 victim.

The US Government's Continuing Failure to Protect American Citizens from Terrorists -- On 9/11/2002, Judicial Watch published this special report which documents the government's failure to protect the American people from the threat of terrorism.
