SECOND JOINT STATUS REPORT
Plaintiff Judicial Watch, Inc. and Defendant U.S. Department State, counsel and
pursuant the Court October 2015 minute order, respectfully submit this Second Joint
Status Report:
The State Department has completed its review approximately one-third the
twenty-three responsive records identified the agency October 22, 2015 status report. The
parties propose that these responsive records will produced Plaintiff November 2015.
The remaining records are still undergoing review for public release. Given the
subject matter the FOIA request issue this case, this review may require consultation with
one more other government agencies. Accordingly, the parties propose that, November 30,
2015, the State Department will produce Plaintiff the non-exempt portions those records
that not have referred one more other agencies for consultation and will refer all
responsive records that require inter-agency consultation the appropriate agency agencies.
The parties also propose that one week later, December 2015, the State Department will
file status report which discloses the number records produced, the number records
referred other agencies for consultation, and the number agencies which responsive

records were referred. Finally, the parties propose that, within two weeks completion all
inter-agency consultations for given record, the State Department will produce any non-exempt
portions that record.
