Judicial Watch Gives Feds 20 Days to Return FOIA Requests for Hillary Clinton’s Secret Email System
Judicial Watch recently filed a new FOIA request seeking information about Hillary Clinton’s secret State Department email system. This request is asking for email correspondence between Clinton, Clinton’s former aides, and State Department employees and the non-government email systems Clinton used to conduct official business. If this request is not fulfilled in 20 days, Judicial Watch will file a FOIA lawsuit against the State Department on this matter. Read more about this new FOIA request here.
Judicial Watch’s president Tom Fitton also offered commentary on this new FOIA request, as quoted in this article:
“Judicial Watch has launched a full-scale investigation into the truth about Hillary Clinton setting up a secret email system to conceal documents and avoid disclosure under the law,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “Americans cannot wait for Congress to figure out what is going on. And the Obama administration is in cover-up mode. As with Benghazi and the IRS scandals, there is no doubt that Judicial Watch’s litigation forced the disclosure of Hillary Clinton’s email cache, and we will continue to pursue the case.”
