A new ad campaign called “Fix the Court” seeks to make the Supreme Court of the United States more transparent, claiming it is the “most powerful,” yet “least accountable” government institution in our nation. This campaign, founded by Gabe Roth, seeks to make the justices’ decisions more open to the public through reforms such as televised oral arguments and publicized financial disclosure reports. However, government watchdog groups, such as Judicial Watch, already produce financial disclosure reports of the justices. Judicial Watch will continue its efforts of making the government more transparent and accountable through new FOIA requests and lawsuits.
