Obama scrambles to limit Hillary Clinton email scandal damage
MARCH 24, 2015
Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has tainted 160 FOIA requests Judicial Watch filed. In addition, it has spurred Judicial Watch to reopen a FOIA lawsuit regarding Huma Abedin’s email communications at the State Department since the State Department did not search emails on Clinton’s private server. The department claimed it could not search the emails because it did not have control of them. Read more about the FOIA lawsuit Judicial Watch reopened here.
Judicial Watch’s president Tom Fitton also offered commentary on this scandal, as quoted in the article:
“We still don’t know who has separate email accounts, who had these alias accounts, how many records there are, were records destroyed, who was responsible for these records legally, who in the agency knew about these records, when did the Justice Department know about these records, why wasn’t Judicial Watch aware of these records, why wasn’t the court aware of these records?” Mr. Fitton said.
