Although the First Family paid for their own private rental homes, taxpayers will foot-the-bill for ambulance, Air Force One’s fuel, the Obamas’ flights, and the Honolulu Police Department escorts who escorted the Obamas. The flights will be the most expensive cost imposed on taxpayers. In 2014, Judicial Watch obtained records on how much taxpayers were billed for the First Family’s flights for their December 2013-January 2014 Christmas vacation to Honolulu, which totaled to be$7,781, 361.30.
