Trey Gowdy’s secret tapes focus on Hillary’s Islamic adventure
FEBRUARY 04, 2015
Trey Gowdy’s Select Committee on Benghazi is investigating newly released audiotapes revealing communications between the Department of Defense and Muammar Gaddafi’s son about Hillary Clinton’s involvement in the 2011 US mission to invade Libya. According to the tapes, an intermediary who corresponded with Gaddafi’s son alleges Hillary Clinton fabricated a claim that the Gaddafi regime threatened Libyan rebels with genocide to get Congress and the American people on board with an invasion into Libya to help the rebels overthrow Gaddafi. Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit that resulted in the release of government documents cracking down on the false narrative surrounding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack was also mentioned in this article. You can read more about the latest developments of that lawsuit here.
Here is a snippet of the audiotape in written form, as quoted in the article:
“You should see these internal State Department reports that are produced in the State Department that go out to the Congress. They’re just full of stupid, stupid facts,” the U.S. intermediary said to the Gaddafi regime in 2011.
