Lawmaker Denied Ft. Sill Entry After Reports of Displacing Soldiers to Accommodate Illegal Aliens

JULY 02, 2014

Following reports that soldiers were booted from their barracks at an Oklahoma Army base to make room for a wave of illegal immigrant minors, the Obama administration is refusing to give the federal lawmaker who represents the state in Congress access to the facility.

Could it be that the administration is hiding something? The facility, Ft. Sill, is located in Lawton about 85 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. It serves as the United States Army and Marine Corps’ Field Artillery School and houses nearly 9,000 soldiers along with 62,621 family members, according to its official Army website. Last week Judicial Watch received reports that single enlisted soldiers were transferred from their barracks to tents in order to accommodate the flood of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) coming from Central America.

A Ft. Sill spokesman, Keith Pannell, told Judicial Watch that no soldier has been displaced because illegal immigrants are being housed in quarters that have been empty for months. “No soldiers have been moved out of any barracks to make room for UACs,” Pannell told JW. “Those barracks were being remodeled and the last time they were occupied was in April.” Pannell wouldn’t offer any further details on the arrangement, including the number illegal aliens staying at the base.

One of the state’s representatives in Congress, Jim Bridenstine, tried to visit but was denied access to the facility. In a statement issued this week Congressman Bridenstine’s office says Ft. Sill is housing up to 1,200 UACs, but the lawmaker couldn’t offer any more information because he wasn’t allowed inside. He says a fence covered with material that totally obscures any view has been erected around the barracks housing the UACs “There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held,” said Bridenstine, a former Navy pilot.

This crisis has been cloaked in secrecy from the start and the administration has withheld crucial information from the American public. For instance JW reported that a Texas military base is being covertly used as an illegal immigrant processing/holding location. A hangar at the El Paso facility, Ft. Bliss, is quietly being used by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to process, house and transition the influx of illegal immigrant minors that have arrived in the U.S. in recent weeks, a high-level inside source told JW. A Pentagon official demanded JW pull the story three days after it got published but backed off when we requested he put it in writing.

JW has also been in touch with Homeland Security sources on the scene who have confirmed that the barrage of illegal immigrant minors has created an out-of-control disaster with jam-packed holding centers, rampant diseases and sexually active teenagers at a Nogales facility. The president of the Tucson Border Patrol Union, Art Del Cueto, told JW that many of the migrants are not little kids, but rather 17-year-olds with possible ties to gang members. Yet, Del Cueto confirms, many will be released to relatives in the U.S.

The government is so overwhelmed that U.S. Border Patrol agents are being recruited to serve as babysitters, according to an internal document obtained by JW. This is the front-line federal agency responsible for preventing terrorists and weapons of mass destruction from entering the United States. Yet agents with “child care or juvenile teaching and/or counseling” are being recruited to feed, monitor, interact and provide security for the illegal alien minors until they are placed elsewhere.

Opposition, maybe, but his figures are easily checked at the GAO if you don’t mind pulling out hairs weeding through tons of data to get them. That’s why I chose Forbes. Germs kept in behind chain link fences is a stretch, ever heard of wind?

  • blacksunshine84

There you go again, telling me what to do…

Forbes is controlled, not true, opposition. There is no two-party system. And of course government is going to tell you that you are smarter than everyone else for believing its propaganda.
And your response that locks can’t keep diseases out of our society is ridiculous: For certainly keeping the diseased person out of the general population prevents the spread of disease. And certainly a 12ft fence topped with barbed wire and guard towers manned with military personnel could keep even dishonest people from escaping into our population. It happens everyday in prisons…

  • freebird4533

The FEMA camps for for American Citizens!

  • Chas Mcarty

Don’t tell me what to say, I’ll say what I want, you do as you please. Before you continue embarrassing yourself with the Owebama nonsense, read Rick Ungars 2013/02/2 article in FORBES magazine, Its a reasonable condensed version of reality. Forbes is hardly an Obama fan and at least they try to remain honest. Don’t feel alone in your misinformed state of mind. 61% of those polled believed he raised the deficit while only a meager 6% were informed enough to know he actually reduced it. Again it shows the power of negative propaganda. Fences, be they barbed wire topped or brick walls, are like locks. They only keep honest people in or out. They do nothing to contain germs or pathogens. They are not secure. Someone committed to breaking in or out is going to figure a way out eventually and certainly not a safe bet on containing contagions. But it fits your paranoia so go for it.

  • blacksunshine84

How about you, Chas, don’t tell me what to do? :)

The FEMA camps are quite secure with tall fencing wrapped with barbed wire at the top…to keep predators out, of course. It’s the perfect solution to 0webama’s budget woes. Government even has vendors already in place for laundry, food, etc…

  • Chas Mcarty

Glad to hear it. But please, spare me the talking point demeaning pet names for the President. They weaken your otherwise intelligent and reasonable discussion.
Some, no, many of the kids may well end up being housed in those camps once triaged and classified. But I still feel that the security of a military base makes us all safer until that time, as well as those kids who now face a very real threat from those who feel its ok to harass them. How they square with professing to be Christian is beyond my grasp. it does show the power of polished and directed propaganda.

  • baitmando

I know. I’m ashamed of liberals too.

  • blacksunshine84

FOX News is a government linkage institute, same as ALL mainstream media in the USA. It operates as the government’s controlled opposition. Get a clue.

  • blacksunshine84

No, I mean FEMA camps designed and built to house USA citizens in the even of an emergency. There are many of these camps throughout the USA. And it wouldn’t require much additional funding as they already exist and 0webama began staffing them during his first term.

  • Chas Mcarty

Tied to the the sudden trend of part time hiring instead of rebuilding a strong permanent work force indicates that the conglomerates, enmass, are biding their time waiting for the “big payoff” that they expect from their huge donations, With Romney’s defeat all they can say is “curses, foiled again”. Yes it is a conspiracy.

  • Chas Mcarty

You mean the FEMA compounds for the emergency crews like linemen and others who are part of the emergency response teams. They are from around the nation and have to sleep somewhere. Those are nowhere near secure as the the military bases.

What would you have the president do that he hasn’t considering the house has again obstructed him by refusing his funding request to deal with the problem? Six years of obstruction and not once have I heard the right insist on cooperation in any way. Just daily kneejerk negative politically driven reactions at every turn.

  • Chas Mcarty

About that exodus you deny: excerpt from Politico today:

“In a rare and surprising act of political defiance on Tuesday, more than 100 Republicans, including current and former officeholders, endorsed Brownback’s opponent, statehouse Democratic leader Paul Davis”.

The rarity is that it includes politicians.

  • Chas Mcarty

Further more, Fox is part of the News Corp conglomerate. Founded by and primarily owned by Rupert Murdoch who is an Australian, not an American. Its bad enough that they have gone to the highest bidder to morph into the propaganda arm of the republican machine. But to hear their daily tripe knowing he doesn’t give a rats petutie for America other than as a profit machine, while “Patriots” hang on their every word if it fits their 2 dimensional 1 or the other, vanilla or strawberry short sighted world of political views from his highly paid talking heads who read what they are fed even if it spreads hate and dissension daily with out regard to the truth, or the effect on the nations morale. I like it even less and find it hard to respect those who do.

  • Chas Mcarty

I am independendent and can make up my own mind. I Hate Torture. I hate torturers. Any.who try to make it the national policy do not deserve to lead in any capacity. Period. End of story on them. It shamed our nation and made the soldiers already difficult and dangerous job even more so. If our intelligence network had been doing the leg work in the run up to the war instead of cooking information to accommodate the insisted upon scenario instead, I wouldn’t be discussing it now because there wouldn’t have been a war.

  • blacksunshine84

You consider yourself to be independent? Your comment about FOX News reveals otherwise. It’s no better, no worse than any other mainstream media outlet.

The FEMA camps around the country is more reasonable than displacing our military to make way for illegals. There are 4 permanent FEMA camps in my state alone.

  • Chas Mcarty

Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I just can see the ” Immigrants In FEMA death camps” headlines from Fox now..
Being independent, not an Independent, I try to analyze whatever gets my interest from as many credible sources as I can find and although its getting more difficult to find them , they still exist. I really don’t know of any real FEMA camps. Their trend has been to set up temporary ( a relative term in real world applications ) trailer parks near the scenes of disasters, then disband them at some point afterwards. Sometimes selling the trailers to their inhabitants, sometimes giving them to them, sometimes neither. Their quality isn’t always the best. Using military posts seems like the a sensible way to triage, classify, then set a disposition of individual cases at the least expense. This seems to gall the “privatize everything” advocates and “Monday morning quarterbacks” but what doesn’t lately?

  • blacksunshine84

Why doesn’t government house these illegals in FEMA camps until it is determined what will be done with them? Is that not what FEMSA camps are for…emergency housing?

  • gtbmel .

These kids should be back with their parents in their own country. Not alone trying to make money in a foreign country. The US and the countries where these kids are from should be working together to help these kids return to their family or foster care in their own country. Perhaps some of these parents should be investigated and jailed for abuse and neglect of children. US policy shouldn’t be about breaking up families. Help these kids stay with their families and if their family is abusive or neglectful help them stay in their own culture in their own country with foster parents that will take care of them.

  • Chas Mcarty

What I cannot understand, is this. This headline for example “soldiers displaced” has you folks all in a hubbub of indignation. But when bush got on TV and lied that his torture policy that will forever more endanger any of our soldiers captured by any enemy, “was just some troops” Y’all just act like you are deaf and mute. Its one of the biggest and worst betrayals to our military in history. And that war is still going on so don’t say its not relevant. You accept the ultimate betrayal then want to burn down the house over the equivalent of having to sleep in another room. Those who formed the Bush policy of betrayal haven’t gone away,. They are pulling your strings now in hope of getting back in.

  • Mike Barnes

We’ll see in November who the mass exodus is away from despite a corrupt Pravda media. BWAHAHAHAHA!!

  • Mike Barnes

We’ll see in November who the mass exodus is away from despite a corrupt Pravda media. BWAHAHAHAHA!!

  • Chas Mcarty

Most every body is against illegal immigration, whats that got to do with harassing kids? Nobody knows Who or what is instigating the mass exodus. I don’t throw out guesses. I’ve been to most of the Central American Countries and things have to have turned pretty bad for them to send their kids away. And I doubt if its Coyote transporters instigating it. I don’t swallow propaganda from anybody. And I have no support for Clinton. Not because of any trumped up outrage that she had no control over. I do know that it wasn’t Obama that crashed the economy . You know it too and that Fox, Clear channel, and the rest of the machine is trying to infer otherwise should be red flag enough for even the staunchest republicans to question whats been going on. Many have . That is why the other mass exodus is away from them, in droves. I also know the republicans have waged a six year war on Obama from day one. Shamefully, as if we weren’t in a war all that time. As they become more splintered, they become more dangerous. Anything can happen and Americans need to stand united. We won’t get anywhere letting politicians and their machines putting us at odds with each other in the streets in hopes of capitalizing on it..

  • Chas Mcarty

“If you can’t feed em, don’t breed em.”

A harsh statement but considering the state of the world, this quote which has been on a sign in Miami Florida for years makes a stark but valid point. I’d rather see vasectomies and tubal legations more readily available to THOSE WHO WOULD WANT THEM, instead of abortion anyday. But even that is forbidden by the church that is predominant in the Latin and many other cultures. Pardon the caps but I’m stressing it to make it clear that I’m talking about willful personal choice.

But abortion isn’t the issue and has no bearing nor is it an excuse to accept harassment of kids that are already in a bad way. Regardless of how they got that way. They are children. Especially when its politically motivated and hatefully being presented in a dishonest and exaggerated manner. Its a crisis more for them than for us.

  • Mike Barnes

The masters of the Goebbels Big Lie are Obama and his Democrats. MS-NBC delibirately edited tapes to make it sound as if people (not just Zimmerman either) were saying things they did NOT say. And in 2008 it was Hillary Clinton herself who said that FOX had treated her most fairly and did not go whor ing after Obama.

MS-13? Are you kidding me? Obama and HHS are welcoming those poor little “helpless” children into the U.S. with open arms and dumping in neighborhoods far from their own gated communities.
Carlos Chavez himself was against illegal immigration. And aliens engaged in agricultural labor are about 5% of alien labor. Most are jobs they are taking from citizens.
And why are you telling us to invade Mexico and Guatemala and engage the cartels? Kind of illegal isn’t it? Stop watching Expendables movies. Those are for adults who can tell the difference between reality and fantasy.

  • Mike Barnes

China is discovering new-found wealth because they are embracing the free enterprise we are rejecting. When you say “do nothing” House, you mean you want them to act like a Democrat House, shit up and pass what Il Duce decrees. Bob Woodward’s book “Price of Politics” documents Obama’s refusal to negotiate and his obstructionism. And the unions have busted themselves by their insane demands, especially in the public sector. (I don’t really care what labor and management agree to in what’s left of the public sector). Your complaint that smaller portions on grocery shelves for the same price is due to some conglomerate conspiracy rather than the rising costs of labor and materials is incoherent.

  • pupsncats

All the compassion in the world isn’t going to do one bit of good because we can’t save the world. We can’t take care of the truly needy who are already here because we are too busy funding the corruption, waste, fraud, mismanagement, and crony capitalism of the federal and state government bureaucrats and giving people who should be responsible for themselves and their families handouts instead of handups.
It is truly disappointing to know that you accepted a law that has served to exterminate more than 50 million and counting defenseless human beings simply because seven judges made a decree. I supposed if five of the Supreme Court justices today decreed that all white males should be exterminated, you would accept it and “move on.”

  • Chas Mcarty

That was a quick change from abusive parents, make up your mind.

    I’ll get over it.

  • Larenzo1

Yep I new about those but that does not apply to economic refugees which we do not accept. The vast majority of these that are released do not reappear for hearings. Your words show what you are also and I would not even have a cup of coffee with someone like you. As a matter of fact I am cutting you off right now.

  • Chas Mcarty

Which way do you want it, Quarantine until they are checked, or just let anyone diddy-bop in at will? They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If there is any danger of disease, isn’t it wiser to err on the side of caution?

  • Chas Mcarty

Sure they say they are “the most trusted. Fair and balanced” How about citations, other than fox themselves or Limbaugh. Propaganda from such a polished and sophisticated machine works. Goebbels proved that. For a short time. What amazes me is how so many “”Patriots” are lead by the nose by a foreign owned conglomerate.

If you guys are so hell bent on violence, put a merc brigade together and go down to the Mexican/Guatamalan border and take on the cartels that are reeking havoc. Go down to El Salvador and take on the the Maratuchas, the MS-13 that is causing so much misery. No? Y’all won’t, its easier to take on the helpless kids and illiterate bean pickers that are their victims that were lucky enough to escape them..

Better yet, turn off Fox and deprogram yourself by watching 48 hours of “The Magnificent Seven” and “The Seven Samurai.”

  • Chas Mcarty

Well see, we can agree on something after all because your words show what you are and I don’t believe you either….

I don’t imagine that Fox has brought these to your attention:

The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2003 (H.R. 2620)

The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005 (H.R. 972)

The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (H.R. 7311)

All enacted under the same Republican House of representatives that is now demonizing todays president for following the law.

  • Larenzo1

I would not believe you about anything. It is obvious what you are.

  • Chas Mcarty

Yes holding back our recovery. A United States is strong, a divided Nation is not. Conglomerates and their Moguls helped crash us by moving our jobs to China en-mass. I think you’ll agree to that. When Chinas economy grew to the point that the workers wanted more pay and benefits, the companies knew it was over and they should go home. With the chaos already underway here on the political front, and the do nothing house for sale, they demanded returns on the billions contributed to GOP. Do you think that the union busting and anti pay raise hoopla is based on some new ideology? Go to your local grocery store if you haven’t already noticed the trend of smaller portions of every conglomerate supplied item. There was no advertising blitz about a new marketing strategy, just smaller packaging from every major company at the same time, There was a time that they would call that price fixing. Do you think that they all had the same idea at the same time. They were protecting their profits, knowing what was to come. A planned upheaval that in the end was supposed to pay off big for them. A miniscule example of a big picture I admit, but one that’s undeniable..

  • Eldridge P Barrington III

Someone on active duty or reserve status, please use your ID to escort this man onto the base, PLEASE! And send a BIG F & U to The Omnipotent One and his minions in the process.

  • Chas Mcarty

And I’m unaffiliated. You believe me, and I’ll believe you.
When a group leading a nation, invades another and uses lies, bombs, and torture rather than diplomacy and truth, after writing down their intentions, as in the PNAC “Rebuilding Americas Defenses”, then follows through with it. There is no other conclusion to be drawn.
If their wars were righteous, they would still be waving their flags and cheer leading our troops until their end. Instead, as soon as they were booted out they dropped their phony patriotism and turned inward on us from day one. Draw your own conclusion. But look at the facts first instead of reacting, as they intend, to every daily “revelation” that their propaganda machine feeds you. Fox is the hub of the propaganda machine.

  • Chas Mcarty

I do what I can in my old age. What I’m not doing is standing on the side of the road harassing them. What I’m not doing is over reacting to every bit of propaganda fed to me from a machine run by a party that declared war on our/their own government because they lost elections A group of grandstanding obstructionist hacks.with a track record of bullying, targeted lies, and half truths to incite unrest. A group with a stated hawkish agenda and track record of destabilizing nations that is now targeting our/their own.

I try to give those living at least the same compassion that I give my dog and cat.

Just FYI, when legal abortion was being discussed, I spent my time fighting it for real. Over a year of traveling from stake to stake within the Mormon community showing anti abortion films, speaking out. I did it without bullying a single person. When it became the law of the land, I accepted the fact and moved on rather than letting it become a wedge issue to me personally. I still don’t like it, but I don’t let it jade my mind and drive me to hate in general. And I refuse to be a tool of those who use it, and these immigration issues, to stir emotional response while they plan a comeback to continue their wars for oil profits.

  • pupsncats

So what are you doing to save these children? Confronting the smugglers? Speaking to their parents? Offering to use your own money to support them?

My “rant” on abortion is a simple comparison of the “compassion” of those who have absolutely no moral outrage against the intentional murder of the unborn, as defenseless as these children, but never fail to express outrage when some Americans disagree that we ought to just let everyone and anyone into this country and ignore the laws of immigration, and common sense.

  • Mike Barnes

Poll showed Fox is the most trusted network, MS-DNCNBC the least @ 5%. And you are a Marxist so why not call a spade a spade? You and Bill Ayres is a distinction w/out a difference. Same ludicrous sixties childish rhetoric. Power to the People, man. Viva Fidel!

  • Mike Barnes

    “Holding back our recovery…”
Yeah, that’s it. Economy would be booming if it weren’t for those dang Republicans.
What bravo sierra. Drinking deep from the dummocrat Kool Aid.

  • Larenzo1

The first mistake of many you make jackleg is calling me a republican I am not. You have me confused with yourself that obviously sucks up Ed Schultz every day or the rest of the alphabet media! I do not. No political party in this nation has plans for world conquest again you have them confused with your Muslim pals that declare that all will bow down to MO and pass gas in each others faces. You are truly a dullard.

  • Chas Mcarty

And you are being manipulated. Played by the same propaganda machine that’s only goal is to re-seat the republicans in power by any means so they can continue their delusional plan of world conquest. It isn’t going to happen.

Memo to Fox. You are slipping. One of your victims forgot to call me a “socialist or commie”.

  • Chas Mcarty

Shouldn’t you be down on the border chopping up the jugs of water left in the desert to help save lives or something? Your rant on abortion is hollow. Accepting the harassment of living kids and disregarding the conditions that you yourself just cited, while professing to care about developing embryos. Whats wrong with that picture?

  • pupsncats

Oh yes. Children abused by their own parents and the scum making money on escorting them to our border are your concern but the lives of children exterminated by their own mothers and the enslavement of American citizen and legal immigrant minorities, especially blacks, by the Progressive/liberal/Socialist welfare-state policies is perfectly acceptable.

  • Larenzo1

You are as I stated a dullard every poll taken shows what I stated to be true. Either you are a lying jackass or you are an Obama shill. Probably both.

  • blobclark

What are military bases being used to house minor undocumented border crossing arrivals for anyway ? Who in DHS is ordering the military to not speak . Can the white house or DHS or the Pentagon stop a congressman from viewing a site in his own state ? I think only the pentagon and ONLY if the the item were classified. Now if somebody on the house Intel committee with clearance wanted to visit then only way to prevent that would be a “need to know” defense from the White house or pentagon. My god this is so disgusting, so twisted and so Nixonian. The congress should immediately move for investigations and an independent counsel . Something smells here to high heaven !

  • Chas Mcarty

Bullsh8 and double Bullsh8. You don’t speak for “The Veterans” other than yourself and your small shallow pool of brainwashed malcontents. You know where you can stick your worthless threats. Real veterans are more pissed at the chicken hawks who lied them into harms way, then threw them under the bus. Betraying them with false accusations rather than face the consequences of their torture policy. “Torture, oh that was just some troops” G.W. Bush to David Frost then again on Irish TV. They are pissed that the republicans have hamstrung our government while still in their war. Holding back our recovery. Most vets are loyal Americans and they are pissed at you!

  • Chas Mcarty

If you aren’t a Native American you can always go back to your ancestral home land. In fact, after watching your compatriots harassing already traumatized children, I suggest it.

  • pupsncats

So now it is hateful for a country to protect its citizens from an invasion of outsiders who may be carrying diseases, or may be criminals or terrorists? Will you stand up and pay any price, including your own life, if any of these invaders begins a contagion, murders or rapes a citizen or legal immigrant, or commits any time of crime? Do you approve of the adults who put these children’s lives in jeopardy by helping them across our borders?

  • mycorrado

Yes, I am concerned with us Americans being the ones sent to the back of the line so that our country can be overrun with disease and crime. You are blind to the presendent this sets. Now that they see how easily we are overrun and how accomodating we are to a mass invasion, waves of adults are sure to follow. Imagine of we only catch 1 out of 1000 and 200,000 make it to the border on a daily basis? half of central america would be here in 3 months. Good luck!

  • mycorrado

What about QUARANTINE? is that the reason no one is let in to see the medical staff in white bunny suits? I am sure if they called it for what it is, the majority of Americans would be upset and alarmed at the threat of illnesses blooming out of DACA..

  • Larenzo1

He cannot be prosecuted till he is removed from office.

Way to go trooper tell um.

  • Larenzo1

Be careful what you wish for it is at a tipping point right now. Veterans and active military both are very po’ed.

  • Larenzo1

Amen. Time to stand up for America our laws and our people for a change. Tired of the stooge in the Whitehouse sticking it to us.

  • nightwisp

DC would be a better place to build them

  • Mike Barnes

Loved it when JW asked the Pentagon official to put the demand they pull the story in writing. Pulled in his horns real quick.

  • Mike Barnes

At this point, I’m not even confident they wouldn’t.

  • Mike Barnes

Yes, I too am appalled at the hate and hostility displayed by Democrats and the Obama Admn toward the principles of liberty, open government and the rule of law that are the basic tenets of a free society. Obama says to hell with public health, safety and respect for three coequal branches of government.

  • ** Defiant Soul **

Personally, I could give a s*** about you feeling ashamed. If you are so concerned about them, why don’t you take then into your house and pay for their needs. Go volunteer at one of these holding centers and change their diapers. But, you and I know that will never happen. It’s real easy for pukes like you to expect others to pay for and cater to the illegals coming here when we have American veterans, families and children in need being ignored. When was the last time you fed a homeless person? Actually Epoch1… go F yourself.

  • Able

Obama 100% orchestrated this whole thing

  • Epoch1

I am so ashamed at the level of hate that has come over what I used to think were Americans.

  • tpc4545

Why aren’t ALL OF THESE SO CALL Republicans or GOP or Cowards or what ever you want to call them, joining forces and go to these bases and see whats going on,They sure has hell not going to throw them all in jail.

  • MotleyCrew

Unfortunately, with the current make up of the Senate, any Impeachment motion the House filed would only die in the Senate. Hopefully in January……………….

  • TCap

Is there any level of executive abuse that will prompt Congress to start impeachment proceedings? Apparently not. First article of impeachment should read that the president has failed to faithfully execute the laws of the U.S. Shouldn’t be too difficult to prove.
