Americans Speak Out On Immigration

While millions of Mexican flag-waving illegal immigrants fill the streets demanding rights, Americans have expressed–in a variety of national polls–that illegal immigrants are a costly burden and that our borders must be controlled to prevent a further demise.

Most Americans believe illegal immigrants use more public services than they pay for and want the U.S. Government to do a better job of securing the country’s borders. In one poll, a factory worker who happens to be a Democrat, said that he opposes illegal immigration and that migrants are taking away opportunities from Americans.

Regardless, pro illegal immigration groups nationwide are advocating a boycott of work, school and commerce on May 1 to demonstrate support for their cause of granting legal rights to those who have violated U.S. laws.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform reminds them all that illegal immigration is a federal crime under
under Title 8, section 1325 of the U.S. Code and that violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months.
