Quran To Replace Bible At U.S. Ceremony

The first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, a Democrat from Minnesota, plans to be sworn in early next year with his hand on a Quran instead of a Bible.

With strong ties to an Islamic group that supports terrorism and a radical U.S. cult that believes God will destroy the entire white race, it’s not surprising that Representative-elect Keith Ellison wants to replace the holiest book in America for the holy book of Muslims.

His advocates at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a massive U.S.-based organization that avidly defends Osama bin Laden and other militant Islamic terrorists, are salivating over the Quran’s use in a U.S. Government ceremony. The group’s leaders have even demanded that President George W. Bush remove from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council a scholar who has publicly criticized Ellison’s decision to use the Quran claiming he is bigoted, intolerant and divisive.

One legal web site points out the Islamic group’s hypocrisy by revealing its silence on Arab nations prohibiting churches and synagogues as well as the fact that Jews and Christians are forbidden from practicing their own religion in many Arab nations.

Considering the country is in the midst of a serious war against Islamic terrorism, replacing the traditional Judeo Christian-inspired Bible with the Quran in a public American government ceremony may seem extremely ironic, especially since the holy Muslim book contains violent and vitriolic language.

Examples include: Section 48.13 (The Victory): “And whoever does not believe in Allah and his Apostle, then surely we have prepared burning fire for the unbelievers.” Section 48.28 (The Victory): “He is who sent his Apostle with the guidance and the true religion that he may make it prevail over all the religions, and Allah is enough for a witness.” Section 48.29 (The Victory): “Mohammed is the Apostle of Allah.”
