Judicial Watch’s Fitton: New Docs Expose Justice in IRS Scandal

A Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit uncovered that the Department of Justice colluded with the IRS to target politically conservative and tea party groups seeking non-profit status. In 2010, the Department of Justice reached out to the IRS to pursue this collusion before the political targeting occurred. Unfortunately, Judicial Watch was only able to obtain two of the 834 documents requested in the FOIA lawsuit.
