Phoenix doesn’t keep logs tracking Mayor Greg Stanton’s security detail

The city stopped maintaining a log of the mayor’s coming and goings, both scheduled and unscheduled, after Judicial Watch and media outlets such as The Republic and azcentral.com asked to see former Mayor Phil Gordon’s security logs. The records, which were later partially released after a court battle with Judicial Watch, showed Gordon’s detail drove him to his then-girlfriend’s house and the movies, dry cleaners and grocery store.
