Judicial Watch Threatens Lawsuit Unless Feds Conduct Damage Assessment of Clinton’s Emails

From Newsmax:

“Conservative group Judicial Watch has threatened to file a lawsuit that demands the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) conduct a damage assessment stemming from former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email account for official business.

Judicial Watch has filed several lawsuits in recent history regarding Clinton’s email use. The latest one targets the nation’s intelligence structure.”

It’s evident that many of the involved federal agencies are still obstructing progress on issues surrounding the Clinton email server case. Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch President, tweeted the following after the latest court hearing regarding the Hillary Clinton email scandal.

Judicial Watch, in a January 10 certified letter sent to Director of National Intelligence Director James Clapper, former Secretary of State John Kerry, and Director of National Intelligence counterintelligence executive William Evanina, cites an assessment by FBI Director James Comey revealing that 110 emails Clinton returned to the State Department contained “classified information,” while others contained “Top Secret,” “Secret,” and “Confidential” information. These are part of Intelligence Community Directives that require a damage assessment to be conducted when classified national intelligence is actually or suspected to have been compromised. You can find more information in our press release.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has a legal obligation to provide Judicial Watch with a damage assessment of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, and we will continue fighting to ensure ODNI follows the rule of law.
