NASA Raided In Child Porn Probe
Federal agents raided the Washington headquarters of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in a child pornography probe involving a high-ranking executive with the tax-funded government agency.
The Smoking Gun has posted the 10-page affidavit that was filed in U.S. District Court and offers the horrid and graphic details of how the executive with NASA’s In-Space Propulsion, Mission and Systems Management Division, used government equipment to obtain child pornography during work hours.
The affidavit says that the 42-year-old James Robinson corresponded with undercover agents to view and illicit images and videos from his work and home computers. Agents began investigating Robinson last year as part of an online operation that singled him out as a purveyor of illegal images.
Ironically, NASA launched its new online Kids’ Club this week, a new web site which will feature animated, colorful, entertaining and educational activities for children in kindergarten through fourth grade.
