The Next Load Of Free Stuff From Washington: Diapers

That excellent watchdog over governmental duplicity and lawnessness, Judicial Watch,reports here about the Obama administration’s determination to further extend the Nanny State to include diapers – even though Congress has said no to this bad idea. Twice.

Back in 2011, a bill ostentatiously named the Diaper Investment and Aid to Promote Economic Recovery Act was introduced by Connecticut Representative Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut. At least, the House had enough collective sense to realize that giving away diapers is not an ā€œinvestmentā€ and the bill did not pass.
