Prosecution Rests in Ryan Corruption Trial
Today, prosecutors in Chicago rested their case against former Governor George Ryan after 18 weeks of witness testimony. Witnesses have told how Ryan got free vacations and other kickbacks in exchange for giving government licenses and contracts to his friends. The defense is now expected to go for several weeks.
