Senators blast major union support for amnesty

Senators Cruz (R-TX)  and Sessions (R-AL) criticized the AFL-CIO for claiming President Obama’s executive amnesty would help the American people and our economy. Both emphasized President Obama does not have the authority to give close to 5 million people work authorization. Senator Sessions further addressed executive amnesty at a panel hosted by Judicial Watch on December 8, 2014, highlighting the harm it will do to our nation and people. You can watch his speech here.

Here’s what Senator Sessions had to say about what cost executive amnesty will have on the American people in this article:

“This is a huge thing. I don’t believe we have a shortage of labor when wages are falling,” said Sessions, adding, “It’s time for somebody to stand up for working Americans.”
