All,
Heres Nahlas quick read-out how Jazeera framed the interview.
Nahla says Mr. Hussein gave very stmng interview. She thought very effectively quoted earlier Egyptian
interlocutor calling for reason and peaceful solutions. also quoted Koranic verses non-violence, forgiveness, and
not killing, which should play very well with the audience though was met with rather hostile reaction from the
interviewer, who seemed caiught off-guard.
After the interview, news reported that Mitt Romney getting criticized other Republicans for taking advantage
the crisis for political motives.
Following the news, there was interview with Dr. Mohamed Al-Jawadi, historian and political analyst who was asked Secretary Clintons statements are enough stem the tide outrage. said the State Department has achieved
cooperation with the Islamic work supporting and respecting the peoples aspirations and now has strong
relationships based mutual respect and respecting laws, but there are those Egypt, Libya, Vernen, and the who
wish destroy that cooperation. When asked how prevent future violent incidents Embassies, emphasized
the importance strong judicial institutions address charges breaking laws and denigrating religions, the cases
may settled within legal systems. Educating people about religions and dispelling misconceptions, especially about
Islam, also very important.
Best regards1
Rebecca
