    The USS John C. Stennis was not in the Mediterranean on 9/11/2012. Not even close.

    also… the USS New York and USS Gunstan Hall were stationed just off the coast of Benghazi the night of the attack. They had over 700 Marines on board.

    It is odd that the map does not show the location of the USS John C. Stennis strike group which was operating in the Mediterranean on 9/11/2012. Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette was relieved of command during their deployment on Oct. 17, 2012.
