The IG Report’s underwhelming nature skimmed over egregious misconduct by FBI officials, demonstrating an acceptance of political bias and a lack of will power to effectively confront it. The reported abuse of power for political purposes paints a very troubling picture of the FISA process and just how much FBI bureaucrats did to ensure their politically-motivated show trial would come to fruition.
