Obama’s LA trip for TV show will cost you $2 million

President Obama just billed the American taxpayers $2 million for a trip he took to Los Angeles for a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser last Thursday. As Judicial Watch has gleaned from its FOIA requests, President Obama has had a history of burdening the American taxpayers with large travel expenses. In fact, the last three trips the Obamas took to Hawaii for Christmas costed taxpayers $15.5 million. Judicial Watch recently released travel records for the First Family’s 2014 Christmas vacation to Hawaii. Read more about what Judicial Watch discovered here.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, also commented on these records, as quoted in the article:

“President Obama seems oblivious to the burden he is placing on Americans with his continuous vacations, getaways and political junkets at taxpayer expense,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton with this week’s latest report.
