Pursuant the order dated April 2018, counsel for the parties have conferred and
jointly submit this status report. the FOIA request issue this case, Plaintiff seeks, inter alia, certain FISA
applications and orders relating Russian interference the 2016 election, allegations
collusion between people associated with the Trump campaign and Russia, and any known
Trump associates. FBI originally made Glomar response, refusing confirm deny the
existence any responsive records.
Defendant working multiple pending FOIA requests and lawsuits for similar
categories documents. light the declassification and disclosure related information,
Defendant currently processing for potential redaction and release certain FISA materials
related Carter Page. each case where these documents are issue, Defendant has
requested, and the court has granted, schedule whereby processing will complete

The parties have therefore agreed the following schedule for the search and production non-exempt responsive records: DOJ will provide status update the Court May 18,
2018, and will complete the processing and production responsive, non-exempt documents
July 20, 2018. The parties will submit joint status report proposing next steps before
August 2018. This schedule aligns with the schedules directed federal district courts the
above-cited cases. Rather than submit proposed schedule for summary judgment motions
this time, the parties request address whether motion practice necessary the joint status
report August 2018, and propose schedule that time motions are contemplated.
