(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton today made the following statement regarding President Donald Trump’s firing of acting Attorney General Sally Yates Monday night for “refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States:”

President Trump is to be commended for upholding the rule of law in firing Yates for her politicization of the Justice Department. Judicial Watch has long sounded a warning about allowing unvetted refugees into the United States.
