Lynch takes bipartisan heat for private meeting with Bill Clinton

Republicans have called for an independent prosecutor, saying the Justice Department under a Democratic president should not be investigating a Democratic presidential candidate.

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch called for the DOJ Office of the Inspector General to investigate what it called an “outrageous abuse of the public’s trust.”
