Judicial Watch had at least nine Freedom of Information Act lawsuits about the IRS scandal, and much of what you know about the IRS scandal is thanks to Judicial Watch. There was also a civil lawsuit against the IRS, and top IRS officials Lois Lerner & Holly Paz were deposed and questioned under oath. But we donāt know what they said because those depositions have been sealed. So weāve been asking the court for these records to be unsealed.
Judicial Watch recently uncovered documents showing that a McCain staffer suggested that Lois Lerner audit all of these 501(c)(4) groups in a way that would be financially ruinous.
