Vitter Legislation Would End Congress’ Obamacare Exemption

Senator David Vitter, following Judicial Watch’s lead, is still pushing for common sense in the House of Representatives and Senate. He recently introduced legislation that would require the president, vice president, political appointees, and members of Congress to purchase health insurance through the exchanges established by Obamacare. Vitter’s effort is in response to documents released by Judicial Watch which show congressional staff claimed Congress was a small business in order to claim federal funds to pay for insurance through the Small Business Exchange.
