When a court is hearing a case that pertains to the mission of Judicial Watch, but for which it is not a party, Judicial Watch will file an amicus curiae brief. Judicial Watch focuses on cases where it can promote its key principles of transparency, integrity and accountability, argue against "judicial activism," weigh in on cases that seek to litigate social issues and raise issues regarding the operation of the courts and legal process.
