Judicial Watch: Court Hearing Friday, September 23, in FBI Clinton Email Records Case – State Department Ordered to Disclose “Deleted” Clinton Records Processed for Production

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announces that a hearing will be held in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Friday, September 23, 2016, regarding Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit before Judge James E. Boasberg seeking all of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, now including the 14,900 emails uncovered by the FBI (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)). Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit seeks:

Any and all emails sent or received by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in her official capacity as Secretary of State during her tenure as Secretary of State.

The timeframe for this request is February 2, 2009 to January 31, 2013.

The State Department recently agreed to search and produce to Judicial Watch all responsive, non-exempt emails sent or received by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that were uncovered by the FBI in its investigation of Clinton and her use of the clintonemail.com system. The 14,900 new Clinton emails were uncovered as a result of Judicial Watch’s litigation seeking all of Mrs. Clinton’s work related emails.  U.S. District Court Judge James E. Boasberg ordered the State Department to report to the court the volume of records from disk one (of seven at issue) that it has reviewed and be prepared to commit to a production schedule at a further status hearing on September 23, 2016.

Date: Friday, September 23, 2016
Time: 10:30 am ET
Location: Courtroom 19
U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia
333 Constitution Ave NW
Washington, DC 20001

“The Obama State Department has had these 14,900 emails that Hillary Clinton tried to delete since July but has only released three emails,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.  “Americans should expect this stonewalling to end and that all these emails to be released before the November election.”
