Spygate Continues: The New Strzok-Page Emails

In my view, this is evidence of criminal activity which is being withheld from the American people by [Director] Wray’s FBI,” Fitton explained in last week’s Weekly Update. 

Newly obtained documents from the FBI have tied Comey to both the FBI’s political  unmasking and to the illegal FISA warrant application which wrongly authorized the bureau to spy on president Trump, and a number of individuals close to the administration, according to Fitton. In fact, Judicial Watch is now “reviewing documents confirming that Strzok under James Comey was investigating the president for tweets he was sending.” 

As the documents highlight, Comey’s FBI was intent on secretly investigating the president – even to the point of determining when certain tweets were published. “That’s what the FBI was spending its time on in March of 2017, astonishing,” Fitton continues. 

Along with these documents, Judicial Watch recently released information that evidences then-FBI Director James Comey’s “intimate involvement in the FISA warrant that was later pulled for being illegal.” In fact, as Judicial Watch recently revealed here, “you’ve got the unmasking being tied to Comey and you’ve got the illegal FISA warrant being tied to Comey.” Comey was “investigating the president because of his critical comments of Barack Obama’s spying on him,” Fitton concludes.

As Fitton warns, “the FBI has been slow-rolling and stone-walling the release of these documents.” “I don’t know Barr is allowing this, I don’t know why Wray is allowing this. There’s some transparency but it’s transparency in many ways designed to frustrate the quest for truth as opposed to furthering it in a timely way.”
